1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Obsidian Research website (obsidianresearch.co.uk) and placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use this website or purchase any products. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Research Use Only
All products sold by Obsidian Research are supplied strictly for in vitro research and laboratory purposes only. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, injection, or any form of clinical application.
By purchasing from us, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher, scientist, or laboratory professional and that the compounds will be used solely for legitimate scientific research in a controlled laboratory environment.
Obsidian Research accepts no liability for any misuse of its products. Any use of our compounds outside of a legitimate research context is strictly prohibited and is entirely at the buyer's own risk.
3. Eligibility & Age Restriction
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase from Obsidian Research. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
You are responsible for ensuring that the purchase and possession of research compounds is lawful in your jurisdiction. It is your sole responsibility to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where we have reason to believe eligibility requirements are not met.
4. Products & Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, purity specifications, and Certificate of Analysis (CoA) data are accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on this site are error-free, complete, or current.
All purity figures quoted represent batch-specific HPLC analysis results. Individual batch CoA documentation is included with every order. Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, or substitute any product at any time without prior notice.
5. Orders & Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Receipt of an order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs when your order is dispatched.
Prices are displayed in GBP (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of order.
We accept major debit and credit cards. All payment transactions are encrypted and processed securely. We do not store full card details on our servers.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we suspect fraudulent activity or a breach of these terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Obsidian Research shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or misuse of our products or website.
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Obsidian Research and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written consent.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
